We found this pub in 2023 and whilst we were here on holiday, we wanted to give it another go. It didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Good variety of meals to choose from. My husband had the Pepperoni Pizza with a side of fries and I had the BBQ chicken with salad (instead of chips and peas). We both enjoyed our meals, which were very tasty, nice and hot and a good portion size. Whilst lovely, the pizza was a little short on the topping. We are heading back there again this week.
Been back in for more dinner and lunch too! Nice and quiet friday lunchtime. they have a lunch menu in addition to the main menu of ciabattas, jacket potatoes and sides.- Wait time

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Queen’s Head in St Stephen, Cornwall, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The roast dinner was an absolute standout—perfectly cooked meat, tender and flavorful, paired with golden, crispy roast potatoes that were some of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were a delight, light and fluffy, and the generous helping of rich gravy tied it all together beautifully. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, making it a proper Sunday treat.
The atmosphere in the pub is just as impressive. It’s a charming, cozy spot with a warm, welcoming vibe—think crackling woodburners, friendly chatter from locals, and that quintessential Cornish village charm. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you’re a regular or just passing through. The beer garden and play area out back are lovely touches too, perfect for a sunny day.
The staff truly elevate the whole experience. They’re incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel like valued guests. Service was spot-on—quick without feeling rushed—and they were happy to chat and offer recommendations.
All in all, The Queen’s Head is a gem. The roast dinner alone is worth the visit, but the fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff make it a place I’ll be eager to return to. Highly recommend!- Price per person

Lulu liked it! Though the heavy stench of weed on one of the patrons who was playing pool nearby was quite off-putting.
